Desert of Kia of Tucson offers 11 models that are qualified for the U.S. Govenment’s Car Allowance Rebate System, otherwise called “Cash for Clunkers“. The program kicks off on or before July 24th 2009 and expires November 1st 2009. Consumers who trade a qualifying vehicle for a more fuel efficient New Kia are offered vouchers up to $4500 through registered dealerships. Desert Kia is a registered dealership for the CARS program.
Eligible Kia models include: 2009 Borrego, 2009 Sedona, 2009 Sorento, 2009 Sportage, 2009 Optima, 2009 Rio, 2009 Rio5, 2009 Rondo, 2009 Spectra, 2010 Forte, and 2010 Soul. Not allo Borrego, Rondo and Sorento engine/drivetrain combinations qualifty.
